The employee's record shows that he had previously been in violation of the law by practicing massage therapy without a license. The employer failed to investigate the employee's employment history and criminal record. The employer failed to provide its customer with a safe environment. Due to the employer's negligence, the woman suffered emotional distress, low self-esteem, injury to intimate family relationships, humiliation, psychological injuries and other damages. This case was successfully settled in mediation.
