November 11th, 2020
Contributor: Tommy Odom
Tommy Odom, with former NC Supreme Court Justice Robert N. Hunter, Jr., has planned the NC Bar Association 2020 Constitutional Rights and Responsibilities Section CLE titled "COVID-19 v. The Constitution: The New Normal?" Tommy invites all North Carolina licensed attorneys to attend the CLE to obtain 6 MCLE Hours including 1 Substance Abuse/Mental Health credit.
The CLE will take place on December 3, 2020 via Live Webcast. Presenters include the top legal minds in the Constitutional Law field.
From the NCBA: "In 2020, the COVID-19 crisis has raised new constitutional issues that have not been seen in court in quite some time. This CLE not only brings the constitutional practitioner current, recent North Carolina and SCOTUS significant decisions of this year but also brings the practitioner up to date on the COVID-19 wars, including the federal First Amendment law on protesting in a pandemic and the state “fruits of one’s labor” clause litigation update from the front.
